First date for me would be a day of riding and than maby a glass of wine in front of a wood burnig fireplace for some conversation about our day (there is nothing better than daydreaming infront of a fire)

Somewhere were both sides feel comfortable, might be a horse event, restaurant, coffee, so lets decide together if the chance arrises
meet in public place. decide if we should go for a ride. take the time to get an idea about each other. 'it this a match?" if not lets just ride. I have a mare that is green and needs to go with a bombproof horse.

i think the first date should include a nice dinner and then just a nice casual stroll,taking in the different sights and sounds. it's a good time to just get to know each other better

The first date is something that we could decide on together where we can get to know each other - so no movies.
Ideally it would be riding ... maybe a trail ride and a picnic lunch somewhere so we can continue to talk and learn more about each other. Of course since I don't have a horse he would have to have an extra for me to ride ... :-)
I am open to many other ideas as well ....
It would be a wonderful afternoon out if we could have nice quiet lunch at a cute little cafe so we would be able to visit for a few hours or maybe just hop on the horses with a sack lunch.
I think that a ride to a water fall or a beautiful pick nick meadow or high up to look out at a beautiful view would be an ideal date with the right safe person.
mixed gender group trail ride of some kind maybe some riding club - in placer county or el dorado county but have to get to know each other through email and/or phone first.
