A nice dinner at a restaurant that makes conversation easy. Most restaurants in my area have live music that starts later in the evening so we could extend the date for entertainment and more conversation.

Nice, romantic dinner either in or out (not a real fancy / expensive restaurant, but something along the lines of a steak house or the Olive Garden type of restaurants); then a movie or go dancing (I need to learn country dancing lol) or go to a pub to listen to live music. OR..... HEY!!! The Grizzly Rose!!!! Never been there, but would love to go!!! :) Or the Buffalo Rose in Golden would be fun too.

OK - what do I like......have to be honest I really have no restrictions on a first date. Communication for hours on end - lots of laughing, of course! Feeling that the other person is hearing you and vice versa. Knowing that you are on the same wavelength. Having the same ideas on how to treat animals and people with compassion and kindness is ultra important.
Going to listen to live country music and having a nice dinner or picknic.
Going to the movies and dinner.
Going horseback riding and taking a picknic.
Someplace where we can relax, laugh,talk and just be ourselves.
A first meeting should be in a restaurant for coffee or a meal. After that if we want to see each other again we can decide together what we would like to do.

Having a nice lunch and going to a fun activity, a stroll on the beach or through a arts and crafts fair, or a concert in the park
Delicious cup of something warm and fuzzy (for me, cocoa!) with good conversation! Always enjoy visiting a new coffee house or community hot spot. Something new.
My ideal first date would be watching a live band on the beach followed by a long walk in the moonlight where we could put our feet in the surf and watch the moon.
I would like to have a romantic picnic of sorts and check out celestial events in the night sky on a clear dark night away from city light pollution. There is so much we don't know.
